consisted of wives of Rotary members. Now several of them have become Rotarians.
We have a booth at the Luzerne County fall fair which Rotary founded. The activities at the booth, such as
food sales and basket raffles, support some of our charities that we fund throughout the year.
The Rotary Club of Dallas is an avid supporter of the Back Mountain Food Pantry. We have had numerous food drives and have raised thousands of dollars and
thousands of pounds of food for our neighbors.
Every December we take 45 children Christmas Shopping at the BonTon in Wyoming. They are from the school districts of Dallas, Lake-Lehman and Northwest.
The funds to support this event come from our annual charity golf tournament.
